In-situ data

philIn-situ data is a prerequisite for the successful use of earth observation data. It covers marine, airborne and terrestrial sensor observations, but also survey data and maps, as well as alphanumerical databases and information from field visits. In-situ data is required for the calibration and validation of satellite data as well as for the creation and validation of space-based products by service providers. We offer our support in identifying the right open data source from European and global stakeholders.
